Bobby Abreu?

So reports are that the Yankees are not offering Bobby Abreu arbitration which means that whoever signs him will not have to surrender draft picks. While I think this is a dumb move by the Yanks, it could end up being good for the Mets. While I do not like Bobby Abreu and never have, he is a solid player. If he does not have a high asking price I would sign him for 2-3 years. He is probably the cheapest option out there because you would not have to surrender draft picks. The Mets would be getting a solid bat to shore up the OF until F-Mart is ready while being able to keep their draft picks.

wtf is cashman thinking? Abreu is not gonna take arbitration, and you'll get free picks at worst
